Big House Youth Group
F.U.E.L (Middle School) and Journey(High School) ![]()
Big House consists of middle school (F.U.E.L) and High School Students (Journey),
featuring both large and small group experiences. This ministry is designed to have a friendly, safe, fun, and inspiring atmosphere.
It is a relational ministry where students "hang out" for a while and connect with each other as well as adult leadership. Students are encouraged through small group discussion and experiences to grow toward a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and move toward becoming active in reflecting Christ by discovering and using their God given gifts and talents to honor him.

Location: Meets in sanctuary, Gym and classrooms
Mtgs begin with praise and worship, message nad prayer.
We then split into two separate groups (Middle School & H.S.) for discussion and lesson.
We end with open gym time - Ultimate Frisbee Challenge has become a staple these nights.

This is a program of personal growth and discipleship for high school students who are ready to take steps toward the "next level" of spiritual maturity.
Our current study is called "The Truth Project" where we will be looking at some truth claims of this world and comparing them to God's version of truth according to His Word in the Bible. Over the course of this journey we will be watching a video and then discussing things like:
-
What exactly is truth?
-
Darwinism vs. creationism
-
History; who's story is it?
-
God in the state, politics and law
-
Why are we here? and what are we willing to do about it?
Some students have requested follow up material to review and the opportunity to dig deeper at home...their request has been granted. Each step of the journey you will receive additional information about journaling assignments for the coming week. For those of you who don't want to dig that deep... it's optional, just remember we reap what we sow.
