Morning Star Mission Opportunities

On Saturday, April 25 local businesses are holding a black tie benefit for
MorningStar Mission.  All proceeds benefit the Women & Family Center.
Anyone interested in purchasing a ticket please contact the main office

Now until May 8th any donation (above $15) received in commemoration or
honor of a mother will receive a rose lapel pin.  All proceeds benefit the
Women & Family Center.

On May 10th I will need a volunteer to pass out flowers to all of the
women that attend dinner

Saturday, May 9th MorningStar Mission will be collecting donations from
9am to 4pm at local intersections in the Joliet area 50-60 volunteers are
needed to make the day a success.

Now until May 29nd MorningStar Mission is selling tickets to the Joliet
Jackhammers game on Tuesday, June 30th.  All tickets sold before May 29nd
MorningStar Mission will receive 50% of the proceeds.
Also needed are sponsors for the men, women and children in our programs
to attend the game.   A donation of $17 will provide their ticket, and
meal (which consists of drink, hotdog and chips)
10 volunteers are needed to help sell raffle tickets at the Jackhammers
game on Tuesday, June 30th

Tuesday, June 16th Jump on the Bus registration.  MorningStar Mission will
be registering local low income children to receive a new outfit and their
school supplies list for the 2009-2010 school year.
15 adult volunteers and 2 Spanish interpreters are needed to help the
families register.

Monday, June 22 thru Wednesday, June 24
10 volunteers are needed to do data entry to complete the registration
process for Jump on the Bus
