Friendship Club is designed for individuals with developmental disabilities ages 12 - 112! The Friendship ministry is all about building relationships between mentors and friends with disabilities as they toghether learn about Gods' love.
Friendship Club meets on the second and fourth Thursdays in September - May from 6:45 pm - 8:30 pm.
Meetings start in a large group with singing and hearing a Bible lesson, often in drama format. This is followed by one-on-one time, where mentors and friends go over the Bible lesson, do a craft activity, and prayer. Finally, the group gets back together for dessert and a social time.
Through the Friendship program, people with cognitive impairments will:
-
Experience the joy of knowing they are of value to God and God's people
-
Grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and with Christ's church
-
Be truly accepted and loved by the Christian Community

Sharing a Meal Uplifting Each Other With Love
The SAMUEL Ministry is an amazing opportunity for our church family to minister to each other! Here's how it works
1) A family or person with a specific need contacts the church office:
Needs List
| # | Category | Serving Guidelines |
| 1 | Birth | Two meals |
| 2 | Surgery | 2x per week as needed |
| 3 | Bereavement | 2x/week for two weeks |
| 4 | Illness | 2x per week or as needed |
Please note: the "Needs List" is a starting point! If you are going through a rough time and could use a meal, please contact us and we will work with you to provide some meals for your family.
2) The church office notifies the SAMUEL Coordinator
3) One of the SAMUEL Team Leaders will call you for specific details
4) We will then call our SAMUEL servers to set up yoru meals!
Remember: Our ministry can only serve you if you let us know you are in need! Christ calls us to be one in heart and mind. Please won't you open your yourself to being served by your Church family here at New Life?
