Food Pantry

 The Food Pantry items are distributed to families
on 1 to 2 Wednesdays of the month from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. 

Volunteers are needed to help sort and organize donations prior to the Food Pantry distrubtion days.
Volunteers are also needed to help distribute the food.

Morningstar Mission - Serving Breakfast

Morningstar Mission

We are continuing our partnership with Morningstar Mission in the new year by continuing to offer an opportunity for groups of people (preferrably 7 - 10 including junior high age students on up to adults)
to help serve breakfast at the mission every 4th saturday of the month.
 
The time commitment is from 6:45 AM - no later than 9:00 AM. 
This is a great way to help serve alongside the ministry of the mission to people in the Joliet area

Sharing a Meal Uplifting Each Other With Love

The SAMUEL Ministry is an amazing opportunity for our church family to minister to each other! 
SAMUEL prepares and delivers meals, and prays for those families in need. 

This information listed below outlines information for serving in the SAMUEL ministry. 
If you are in need of a meal, click here for more information.

Below you will find a "job description".  Should you choose to join our team, you would be called a
SAMUEL SERVER.

SAMUEL Servers should be
1. Willing to bring meal to families in need
2. Willing to pray for families in need

Responsibilities
1.  Bringing meals to families in need.  Pelase take note of your health.  If you are ill please call your Team Leader and reschedule.

2. Notifying Scheduler in a timely manner if you are unable to bring the meal on your specified date.

3. Calling the family the set up a time to drop of the meal. **NOTE: This may not always be necessary; your Scheduler will let you know.

4. Bring your meal in a disposable pan, (if necessary).  This will alleviate the problem of returning pans.  If you are unable to use disposable pans you can look for your pans in the SAMUEL box located in the church kitchen.

5. Please include cooking instructions, if necessary, and let the family know if your meal can be frozen.

6. Praying for the family you are serving.

Windy City Raceway Ministries

/files/Ministry Icons/Adult Study/WindyCity.jpgTo offer the racing community in the greater Chicagoland area an opportunity to experience God's love through guest services, worship and evangelism.  Our objective is to leverage the fan outreach program to turn a "contact" into a "connection". 

Windy City Raceways Ministries is part of the National Organization Raceway Ministries.
We need volunteers to help during NASCAR weekend.  Thursday - Sunday, July 10 - 12.  Volunteers will help drive golf carts, work information booths, assist with 3 church services, work with Lost and Found people, work the convenience store, provide prayer for safety and guidance.
