The New Life Food Pantry meets families face to face on pantry days (every third Wednesday at 4 pm).

We find out what their needs are, let them know they are cared for by New Life Church by talking with them and praying with them, then gladly help them out to their cars with their groceries and donated clothing.

New Life Food Pantry Updates

New Lifers. A big thank you to all of you for such a great response!  You replenished our food pantry these past couple of weeks and made it possible to serve the 72 families that came to us for help. We passed out 186 bags of groceries. That is the most we have ever passed out at one time!  We are in awe of how you have embraced and supported this ministry over the past two years.  What God is doing through you is nothing short of amazing.

The following is a list of what we will be needing for the next pantry date of November 19.  We are once again in critical status on these items, our stock has been depleted.  Please find it in your heart to continue to support us and as your shopping over the next couple of weeks consider picking up a few of the item highlighted for your family specifically and drop them by the food pantry between now and our approaching pantry date.

·        Pasta

·        Pasta Sauce

·        Peanut Butter

·        Jelly

·        Canned Peas

·        Boxed Stuffing or Potato

·        Oatmeal

·        Bottled Juice or Lemonade/KoolAid Mix

·        Pancake Mix

·        Syrup

·        Muffin Mix

Please purchase regular sizes, and as always any brand is acceptable.

As winter approaches there will definitely be a need for coats, hats, gloves, scarves and boots for our recipients.  If you have any that you would like to donate please drop them off on Tuesday, November 18th near the shelving in the hallway by the food pantry.  Please do not drop them off any earlier as we have no place to store them.  Even if you would like to bring them on the day of the food pantry any time before 4pm would be fine.  Thank you for your response to our request.  Questions??  Call Jennifer Huizinga @ 815-462-1240.
