Community Care - Friendship Club/files/Ministry Icons/Adult Study/Friendship.png

Friendship Club is designed for individuals with
developmental disabilities ages 12 - 112!

Friendship Club meets
on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays
September – May from 6:45 – 8:30 pm.

The Friendship ministry is all about building relationships between
mentors and friends with disabilities as they together learn about Gods' love.

Meetings start in a large group with singing and hearing a
Bible lesson, often in drama format.  This is followed by one-on-one time,
where mentors and friends go over the Bible lesson, do a craft activity,
and prayer.  Finally, the group gets back together for dessert and a social time.

Through the Friendship program, people with cognitive impairments will:

  • Experience the joy of knowing they are
of value to God and God's people
  • Grow in relationship with Jesus Christ
    and with Christ's church
  • Be truly accepted and loved by the Christian Community
