NEW LIFE MAIL SLOTS are a great “NEXT STEP” for new people to receive weekly updates on New Life events. You do not need to become a member to receive one. To obtain a mail slot, fill in a Welcome Card and check “A New Life Mail Slot.”
TAKE IT HOME – As you leave the auditorium, you can again take a handout that encourages further reading and reflection on today’s message as well as preparation for next weekend. Take and read!
MISSED A MESSAGE? Did you know you can pick up a CD of the message from previous weeks at the Welcome Center? Did you also know you can go the New Life website and then listen or download previous messages?
THIS WEEKEND Pastor Jul will begin a new series, “God Of THIS City” as we look at the life and ministry of the prophet Jonah.
THE NEXT INTRO TO NEW LIFE CLASS will be held on Sunday, March 14 from 2 PM to 6 PM with a pizza dinner at the close of the class. If you want to know more about the past, present and future of New Life, taught by Pastor Jul, please consider attending this class (which also functions as our church membership class; however, there is no cost or obligation for attending). To sign up, contact Pastor Jul at medenbliks@aol.com or note your interest on a Welcome Card. GEMS (Girls 2nd to 8th grade) will be holding their Pinewood Derby Races on Sunday, March 7 after the 11 AM service. They will also be serving their famous sloppy joes so plan now to stay for lunch and support the girls!
SUNDAY NIGHT WORSHIP at 6:15 PM following "Huddle Up". You are invited to stay or come for a time of worship to "An Audience of One" led by YCAT (Youth Creative Arts Team).
A HEALTH PROMOTION SEMINAR will be held on Thursday, March 25 at 7 PM in the student ministries room. To learn more about diabetes and what you can do to improve your diet and fitness, plan to attend. BP screening, glucose screening, foot screening will also be available. GATHER ‘ROUND THE TABLE on Saturday, March 6 following the Saturday night service. This will be an opportunity to sample the GEMS (Girl’s Club) sloppy joes. Plan ahead to attend this after service dinner. PALM SUNDAY AND EASTER WEEKEND DIRECT DISMISSAL OF KINGDOM KIDS: In order to create “room for one more” for those weekends, please note that children can check in up front but are to go directly to their classroom. Thanks for your help. We will return to our current format after Easter. A COUNCIL NOMINATION FORM is in your mail slot. Thank you for your help in identifying and praying for this servant leadership process. SPRING TABLE TALK for Children's Ministry Volunteers meets Sunday at 10:15 AM. Elementary volunteers meet in the Media Room. Nursery and Preschool Volunteers meet in Room 305/306.
TODAY Devotional Booklets for March and April are available near the mail slots or at the Welcome Center. Please feel free to take one for yourself and others.
A MISSION UPDATE from Tim and Kathy DeVries related to their work with church planters in Chile is in your mail slot. Please continue to pray for Chile and the church in Chile.
FUEL PRESENTS "PROJECT THRIFT STORE" on Monday, March 8. Students should arrive at 6:45 PM. They are given a challenge to complete before their thrift store fashions are shown on the runway. The thrift store fashion show will start at 8 PM. Parents, friends and all New Lifers are invited to watch the show.
