General Information
Beginning on Jan. 16 and 17, 2010, children ages 3 through 5th grade will begin their worship experience in the auditorium before being dismissed to their classrooms. We see many benefits of including our children:
- Having kids in the service will allow parents and chilren to have a common worship experience and the start of a common language with which to talk.
- We also hope that placing children in the service will create a stronger sense of belonging for them.
- We'd like to foster a better understanding of worship for the children

Information for Parents
Before the Service:
- Sign your child in before the service just as your normally would. Beginning on Jan. 16 and 17, all sign-in sheets for ages 3 - 5th grade will be located at the Children's Ministry Table in the frong lobby.
- For preschool children, be sure your child has the correct tag. You should also wear your parent tag.
- For 1st - 5th graders, after checking in, write out the name tag as usual.
- Once you have signed in, please sit together as a family in the service.
Nursery check-in will remain the same. Please check your child in at the Nursery Welcome Table located at the nurseries.
In the Service:
You will be informed when it is time for the children to be dismissed to their classrooms. If you wish, you may accompany your child to the classroom and then return to service.
If your child decides to stay in service, we ask that a parent please go to the classroom to inform the child's teacher. Teachers will immediately take roll to be sure that all children are in the proper classroom.
After the Service:
Please pick up your child from his or her classroom. Students in 4th an 5th grade may leave on their own if the parent has signed the waiver. Children ages 3 - 3rd grade must be picked up by an adult with the proper tag (preschoolers only).
Information for
Preschool & Elementary Kingdom Kids Teachers
- Meet in the Media Room twenty minutes before service on the the day you are scheduled.
- Check your name off the schedule.
- There will be a brief devotional period after which you may go to your rooms to check over anything you may need to check over.
- Once you are sure your rooms are set, you may go to service.
- Once the children are dismissed, please go to your rooms and immediately take roll. If you are missing a child, please contact Kim or Lisa. There will be some special instruciton if you are scheduled on Jan. 16 or 17. We will contact you with more information.
Please feel free to keep your children with you during devotions if you need to.
