The name GEMS is an acronym which stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior.  GEMS Girls Clubs is a relationship-building program created especially for girls!  The purpose of GEMS is to help bring girls into a living, dynamic, relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

To help foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well – between girls and between girls and their counselor (leader).

Each year, a Scripture passage is selected and a theme is developed around that Scripture to make the passage come alive for the girls.  Bible studies, service projects, crafts, games, and other fun activities are created to teach the truth of God’s Word that is found in the theme.

 

God’s blessings are packaged big and small, on mountains and in valleys, temporary and eternal.  But of all the good gifts He gives us, our greatest blessing is Jesus.  In Him and through Him we can help other people do the same.

 

 

Blessings draw us closer to God and ignite a desire to draw others to Him, too.  So when we live aware of Gods goodness, we abound in all that is good.  We are eager and equipped to bless! We bless God with our thankfulness, and we bless others with our genuine love and care.
